A look at a future Marathon Museum

The towns of Hopkinton and Ashland are the first communities along the 26.2-mile Boston Marathon route to express interest
in becoming the headquarters of a museum dedicated to the running event.
Backers say a marathon museum would have to offer more than the Boston Athletic Associations collection of memorabilia, which includes running shoes (pictured) worn by Bill Rodgers.
