City investigating about 150 properties identified as unsafe
Officials from the fire department and inspectional services will visit about 150 unsafe properties across Boston as part of a city-wide crackdown.
The targeted buildings run a range from fire safety concerns to complete dilapidation.
Mayor Thomas Menino established a task force to investigate unsafe properties after one of the biggest fires in the city's history swept through a Roxbury warehouse on Aug. 21.
