Hearing on store's cooler

The town’s Board of Health will hold a public hearing tomorrow at 8:15 p.m. to discuss sanitary violations related to a damaged main cooler at JAK’s Corner Store at 79 Summer St. Health officials have suspended sales of food and cold drinks but have allowed the store to continue selling beer, wine, and cigarettes. The store is expected to regain the ability to sell perishables once the issue has been addressed. - Michele Bolton
