New sculptures in Everett Square

Phone 'Dorchester is an immigrant community,' Baring-Gould said. 'How many phone calls have been made from other sides of town or across the sea?' One of the quotes on the sculpture, 'It is good to hear your voice,' is dated 2001, in reference to 9/11. On other side of the statue is what the artist calls a 'classic Dorchester greeting': 'How's your mother?'
