In the great city of Boston, some costumed figures have shown up to public MBTA hearings to voice their concerns along with other good citizens. Are they budgetary avengers? They call their justice league 'The Fast Five' and their mission is to 'Save the T.' The villain? Presumably, the MBTA's $161 million budget deficit that threatens to raise fare rates and cut back service.
