Double dip at Fenway

Fenway Park will make the official announcement today that the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys will follow in the footsteps of Dave Matthews, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, and Jimmy Buffett by playing the ballpark in June. What the front office probably won’t say is that Eminem and Jay-Z are also hoping to do a show at Fenway later in the season. We hear that the two rappers, who performed at Yankee Stadium last year, have their eye on the Green Monster. We’ll keep you posted on whether they actually wind up booking the gig.
