Inside the Jamaica Plain Whole Foods

Whole Foods stores schedule days were 5 percent of sales are donated to local organizations. The dates, organization name and amount raised will be listed in the store’s entrance. The first 5 percent give back day for the Jamaica Plain store will be Nov. 15 and will include a minimum $20,000 donation from the company to JP-based Community Servings, a program that feeds people in eastern Massachusetts who suffer from any critical illness, along with their dependents and caregivers. Six other area stores will participate in that giveback effort as well.
