Union Oyster House celebrates 185 years

The Union Oyster House celebrated its 185th anniversary on Wednesday, August 3 with an enormous cake depicting the historic restaurant along with several other sites along the Freedom Trail. While the replica of the restaurant itself is made of craft foam covered in icing, all the other buildings are actual cake, except for the occasional steeple or dome, and are edible.
