Recreation Center at Madison Park relaunch

“Partnerships like this, between the city and health care and higher education institutions, draw on the strengths of each to provide quality services for families,” Bob Gittens, Northeastern’s vice president of public affairs, said in a statement. “Healthy Kids, Healthy Futures” makes use of city facilities like the BCYF Recreation Center at Madison Park, the clinical expertise of Children’s Hospital Boston, and the student volunteers at Northeastern to address childhood obesity, he stated.
