Stanley Cup visits Boston Medical Center

The two young boys, Shykein Basden (left), who has sickle cell-anemia, and friend Gaines (right) have shared a room at the medical center since Saturday when Jamari was admitted to receive treatment for severe asthma, according to each of the children’s parents. This morning, as word spread that the Cup was coming, preparations began. The two boys wore black-and-yellow-colored plastic bead necklaces and bracelets they made to show their loyalty to Boston’s latest champions.
