Dock dogs show their stuff in South Boston

The weekend’s competition brought out a handful of competitors and hundreds of spectators, as Boston residents got a taste of Dock Dogs. Put on by the group DockDogs, one of the premier canine aquatic competitions, the weekend contest was a qualifier for nationals. DockDogs holds competitions across the United States, Canada, and Europe and although this was the group’s first visit to Boston, officials said they are looking to make it a regular stop on the circuit.
