When you’re a comedian, insists Gilbert Gottfried , nothing should be off limits. Even if that means someone gets offended. And Gottfried, who’s performing tonight at the Wilbur Theatre, knows a thing or two about being offensive. Last March, Gottfried got himself into a heap of trouble when he tweeted tsunami-related jokes the day after a massive earthquake devastated Japan.
