Neighbors win parking fight

About 20 residents of the Temple Street neighborhood have proved that you can fight city hall and win. The group objected to one aspect of Nashua’s new parking plan that would have placed 18 parking meters on the street outside their homes. Last week, the Board of Aldermen voted 13-0 to prohibit meters on Temple Street between Cottage Street and Temple Place.
