Merchants throw party

The Brookline Chamber of Commerce will host its annual holiday party Thursday at the studios of Brookline Access Cable, where revelers can record holiday greetings and reminders to “shop local.” Fran Berger, owner of WriteAway Communications and a chamber vice president, said local shoppers are reminded that “money spent in town helps support the success and vitality of Brookline business.” The party starts at 5:30 p.m. at the studios, 46 Tappan St. Admission is $20, or $10 for chamber members.
