Robert Francis Kennedy
Bobby Kennedy was born in Brookline in 1925.
He worked in the Department of Justice and was appointed US attorney general by his brother John. He was later elected US senator from New York.
Kennedy befriended actor Richard Burton during the Broadway run of "Camelot" and once got into a sonnet competition trying to out-recite each other with Shakespeare. Burton eventually won by reciting the 15th sonnet backwards.
