The Planning Board is scheduled to open a hearing tonight into an application by Shiff Realty Trust to open a nail salon in a vacant portion of a strip mall it owns at 15-21 Cambridge St. The trust wants to modify its site plan for the property to allow the salon. Also tonight, the board is scheduled to continue a hearing into a special permit application by Kings Bowl of Burlington to open a restaurant and bowling alley at 15 Third Ave., at the intersection of Middlesex Turnpike. The board will also open a hearing into an application by the owners of an office building at 67 South Bedford St. to amend its site plan for the property in order to install two outdoor shelters for smokers. The board also is set to open a hearing into a request by the owners of Beacon Village to make a minor engineering change to its site plan for the multifamily development on Beacon Street. The change includes replacing and moving two dumpsters and building a structure to house mailboxes. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. - John Laidler
