America's 1st power couple: John and Abigail

John and Abigail Adams not only wrote lots of letters communicating personal, local, and world events around the time of the American Revolution, they did what few if any other of the nation’s first superstars did — they saved them. The Minute Man National Historical Park is glad they did. So are Tom Macy and Patricia Bridgman, who will step into the roles of John and Abigail for readings of their letters on three summer afternoons at the Buttrick Garden on the hillside above the North Bridge in Concord.
