Steve Carell The actor and comedian was born in Concord and raised in nearby Acton. Carell attended Fenn school and then Middlesex in Concord. As a teenager, Carell grew his hair long, played hockey, did summer stock, and bombed up and down Route 128. The first concert (and date) he ever went to was at the Boston Garden, where he saw Jethro Tull.
