Lights at Derby Street Shoppes

The Derby Street Shoppes will host its first Tree & Light Festival this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hidden Pond behind Whole Foods Market. The event will feature decorated holiday trees as well as entertainment by local performers and school choirs. Chipotle, b.good, and Whole Foods will provide complimentary refreshments. The suggested donation is $10 per person, and money raised will help provide gifts and social and educational opportunities to South Shore teens in Bay State Community Services’ homeless shelters and residential treatment programs, located in Quincy, Weymouth, Hingham, and Plymouth.
