Thanks to Brandon Howard, last week’s upset loss to Fairhaven is a distant memory for King Philip. Howard threw three touchdown passes and ran for a fourth in leading No. 20 King Philip past host North Attleboro, 28-20, in a Hockomock League game. The Warriors improved to 6-1 overall, 4-0 in the league.

In the first half, Howard threw two touchdown passes, the first 10 yards to Connor Richards, the second a 57-yard completion to Chris Cacciola. North Attleboro answered with a 2-yard run by Dylan Rayburg and a 19-yard Joe Kummer to Ryan Flannery scoring pass.

In the second half, Howard threw his third touchdown pass and second to Richards before running one in from a yard out for the final score.

Big Three

Brockton 42, Durfee 12 - Dominique Williams scored two touchdowns and tallied 214 all-purpose yards for the Boxers.

Greater Boston

Malden 37, Cambridge 6 - Frankie Dunn rushed for one touchdown and returned an interception for another as Malden rolled.

Medford 14, Somerville 7 - Phil Cherry ran for one touchdown and rushed for a 2-point conversion to lead Medford.

Nonleague

Central Catholic 21, Lawrence 7 - Central Catholic scored three first-half touchdowns on the ground.

Dracut 42, Chelmsford 20 - Matt Silva passed for three touchdowns and rushed for two more as Dracut upended Chelmsford.

Newton North 34, Braintree 12 - Conor O’Neil threw two touchdown passes and kicked four extra points for Newton North.

Acton-Boxboro 35, Boston Latin 0 - Jake Sumner had two rushing touchdowns as the Colonials shut out visiting Boston Latin.

Waltham 26, Lincoln-Sudbury 0 - Mike Nutile ran for 168 yards and his 10th touchdown on the season as Waltham sprinted past Lincoln-Sudbury.

Westford 42, Newton South 9 - Mark Cornelius caught two touchdowns passes and kicked six extra points as host Westford rolled.

Lynn Classical 21, Salem 0 - Jaquan Houston ran for two touchdowns.

Franklin 42, Taunton 14 - Matt Carini rushed for three scores as Franklin improved to 7-0. Nick Colson added a touchdown pass and a scoring run for the Panthers.

Bay State

Natick 49, Milton 14 - Antone Wilson rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the Red and Blue’s victory.

Wellesley 28, Norwood 9 - Michael Janey rushed for two touchdowns while teammate Brendan Brooks had a touchdown on the ground and through the air.

Hockomock

Foxboro 27, Sharon 13 - Luke Soccorso tallied two rushing touchdowns for the Warriors.

Mansfield 43, Canton 0 - Nik Busharis passed for 130 yards and three touchdowns as Mansfield rolled. Matt Schafer was on the receiving end of two of those touchdown passes and also returned an interception for a score.

Middlesex

Winchester 14, Melrose 7 - Jay Sprague threw a touchdown pass in the first half, then rushed for the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter.

Reading 42, Belmont 7 - Ryan Pollack ran for three touchdowns and Tino Perrina ran for one and caught a 20-yard pass for a second as the Rockets remained unbeaten.

Atlantic Coast

Marshfield 34, Plymouth South 7 - Sean Griffith produced 16 points for the No. 19 Rams, with two third-quarter rushing touchdowns and four extra points. Bob MacNeil tallied two rushing TDs.

Cape Ann (Large)

Masconomet 42, Triton 19 - Evan Bunker led the Chieftains with two touchdown receptions and a 3-yard run for another. He was also 6 for 6 on PATs. Quarterback Chris Splinter threw three TDs and also ran another in from 60 yards.

Wilmington 31, Pentucket 7 - Senior captain Evan Butters tallied two touchdowns and 206 rushing yards for the Wildcats.

Dual County (Small)

Bedford 41, Weston 7 - In his first start, Bedford’s Leon Barnes rushed for 237 yards, scored five touchdowns and intercepted two Weston passes.

Patriot (Keenan)

Duxbury 35, Silver Lake 7 - Kane Haffey rushed for a touchdown and passed for another as the Dragons notched their fifth straight win.

Nonleague

Newburyport 17, North Andover 14 - Kyle LeBlanc kicked a 32-yard field goal with less than a second left to lift the host Clippers over North Andover.

Northeastern (Small)

Beverly 21, Winthrop 14 - Mark Hannable was 14 for 19 passing for 286 yards and two touchdowns.

Marblehead 34, Saugus 12 - Hayes Richardson ran for three touchdowns and threw another to Flynn McCormack.

Hanover 35, Quincy 6 - Brett Wheeler ran for 217 yards and three touchdowns for Hanover (4-3)

Catholic Central (Large)

Arlington Catholic 36, Archbishop Williams 20 - Senior Ricky Douglas stole the show for AC, scoring twice on touchdown runs, throwing for another score, had an interception, and tallied 162 all-purpose yards.

South Shore

Cohasset 33, East Bridgewater 0 - Cohasset remained unbeaten as Dana Valentine had touchdown runs of 2 and 63 yards against East Bridgewater.

Norwell 6, Carver 0 - Paul Donovan’s 13-yard touchdown dash proved to be enough as Norwell’s defense shut down Carver.

Tri-Valley

Westwood 21, Bellingham 0 - Jordan MacPherson ran for one touchdown and returned an interception 70 yards for another.

Holliston 36, Ashland 12 - Strong defense helped lead the Panthers over Tri-Valley foe Ashland, with two interceptions that resulted in touchdowns.

Medway 35, Dover-Sherborn 7 - Ted Davenport had 18 carries for 157 yards and four touchdowns as Medway improved to 6-1.

Division 4
Mayflower (Large)

Bristol-Plymouth 41, South Shore Voc-Tech 6 - Evan Cabral passed for 196 yards and three touchdowns for B-P. Cabral also rushed for two touchdowns.

Nonleague

Madison Park 14, Burke 12 - The 2-point conversion pass from Elysander Plaza to Khayree Hudson in the first quarter helped give Madison Park the Boston City North win.

Commonwealth (Small)

Chelsea 35, Minuteman 14 - Daniel Martinez and David Cortez each ran for more than 100 yards.
