Game of the week
Xaverian at Everett (Saturday, 2). Two of the most redoubtable teams in the state will collide for this nonleague tilt. Xaverian (4-1) is hungry for a win after dropping its first game of the season, 31-14, to Duxbury. The defending Division 1 champs Crimson Tide (5-0), playing for a Division 1A berth this season, would like nothing better than to make a statement. Everett senior QB Jonathan DiBiaso will be staring down the Hawks’ powerful junior lineman, Mo Hurst, all afternoon.
