Wilmington over Pentucket - Nice to see how competitive Wilmington Pop Warner is. I’m sure the Middlesex League is looking forward to welcoming the Wildcats and their enthusiastic parents.

Xaverian over Bridgewater-Raynham - In a season in which Xaverian has already beaten Everett and Brockton, it’s hard to imagine the Hawks falling to B-R, no matter what the Trojans’ record.

Taunton over Franklin - With four straight wins, this shouldn’t be surprising. Franklin is due for a letdown.

North Attleboro over King Philip - The Red Rocketeers will be the deciding factor in the Hockomock race. First KP, then Mansfield in two weeks.

Nantucket over Old Colony - If the much-improved Whalers aren’t seasick after tomorrow’s ride over, the game will be easy.

Needham over Weymouth - Is there any tougher three-week stretch than what the Rockets face? Weymouth tonight followed by Natick and Walpole.

Staff picks by Bob Holmes. Last week, 4-5 (season, 22-20).
