Menorah lighting Wednesday

The Chabad Jewish Center will hold its annual public menorah lighting ceremony Wednesday at 6 p.m. on the downtown common. This year’s ceremony will feature the lighting of a glow-in-the-dark menorah. It will be followed by music, dancing, doughnuts, hot cider, and a raffle. The Chabad Jewish Center in Needham is joining thousands of Chabad Lubavitch centers across the globe in staging public displays of the menorah and its symbolic lights. - Dan Adams
