D.J. Walsh is pretty quiet. But as the only four-year varsity player on the Needham High boys’ hockey team, he is respected as a leader by his teammates and coaches. And though the Rockets were ousted in the play-in round of the Super 8 tournament, the senior center is now focused on the Division 1 South tourney, and continuing to improve every day.
