Mystic Valley boys basketball wins 46-43 against Lynn tech

The Mystic Valley boys’ varsity boys’ basketball team began the 2013-14 season in the right direction, posting a 46-43 win at home against Lynn Tech on Friday, December 13. 
Sophomore center Matt O’Connor (15 points and 12 rebounds and a big block at the end of the game) and senior point guard Raymond Leung (8 points and solid floor direction) led the way for the Eagles.

“It was an exciting game from beginning to end, and I’m very happy that we were able to come on top,” said Coach Tony Ferullo.  “I thought everyone played hard and with a lot of enthusiasm. It was a positive way to start the season.” 

The jv team also won by a 51-38 score. They were led by Jimmy Sickler’s 12 points, Jack Ryan and Ethan Rong each had 10 points and Dimitri Morriset had 7.

“Great team win.The kids deserved to win that game, they played as a team for all 32 minutes” said Coach Ryan Walsh.

The teams will play again Tuesday vs. North Shore Co-op at home.
