Annual cleanup of 12-acre Allston park set for Saturday

Volunteers will gather Saturday for their annual fall cleanup of the 12-acre Ringer Park in Allston, according to an announcement from the nonprofit Parents and Community Build Group and the Ringer Park Partnership Group.

The cleanup will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, refreshments, work gloves and tools are provided, the announcement said. Volunteers can work any part, or all, of the day.

Ringer Park is MBTA accessible by bus #57 from Kenmore Station, #66 from Harvard and Dudley Stations to the Cambridge St./Union Square Stop, and the Boston College Green Line T to the Allston Street stop.
