Buses to replace part of Green, Blue line train service this weekend
Buses will replace train service on portions of the Green and Blue lines this Saturday and Sunday, according to MBTA officials.
On June 16 and 17, buses will replace trolley service on the Green Line’s B Branch between Boston College and Washington Street. The shuttles, which are accessible for people with disabilities, will stop at the four trolley stations between those two stops.
On the Blue Line, buses will replace service between the subway line's last two stops, Wonderland Station and Revere Beach Station.
The T plans to make needed track repairs at Chestnut Hill and Commonwealth avenues, string new electrical wire at Boston College and perform steel work for the “Blue Line Streetscape Project.”
