Frozen yogurt chain Pinkberry will open a store on Boston University’s campus in September, according to the school’s dining officials and the dessert company’s website.

Pinkberry will open inside the George Sherman Union, a student center at 775 Commonwealth Ave., taking over a space occupied by smoothie chain Jamba Juice, the BU Dining Services Twitter feed announced last week.

Jamba Juice will relocate to the ground-floor of the Warren Towers dormitory at 700 Commonwealth Ave. moving into a space where burrito chain Olecito runs, dining services officials said. Olecito is leaving campus.

The reshuffling of campus-area food spots was first reported by WTBU, the university’s student-run radio station.
