Boston Police seek to ID man who allegedly robbed Allston store at gunpoint

Boston Police are seeking help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed an Allston convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday night.

The department released the photograph of a suspect, describe as a being black, in his 40s, with a slight beard and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a winter hat with extended earflaps.

Store employees told officers that the pictured man was one of two suspects involved in the armed robbery at the Neighborhood Market at 57 Franklin St. in Allston, according to police. The man in the photo showed the workers the gun and demanded money at about 9:22 p.m. Tuesday.

The Boston Police Department is investigating and asks anyone with information to call detectives at the District D-14 station in Brighton at (617) 343-4256.
