“The Allston Village Farmers Market is a great place for the community to come together and celebrate the wonderful diversity that we have in Allston,” Alana Olsen, director of Allston Village Main Streets said in a statement. “I am so grateful to the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness for helping pull together this really exciting family event, our market manager Mary Lovell and all of our volunteers have done a wonderful job.”

“For almost seven consecutive months, we shop our farmers markets and connect with our neighborhoods. ‘Kids Day!’ is a special day of fun designed to especially connect our children to the magic of being surrounded by and drawn into all that is local and fresh,” said a statement from Karen Spiller, director of Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness.
