The third-annual Boston Wiffle Ball Challenge helped raise more than $90,000 for the two Boston organizations, Franciscan Hospital for Children based in Brighton and the Travis Roy Foundation based in the downtown area.

The charity tournament was held at Boston University’s Nickerson Field on June 22. Seventeen teams competed, including: Suffolk Construction, Cambridge Savings Bank, Appleton Partners, Cooley Manion Jones, Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, CBIZ Tofias, Krokidas & Bluestein LLP, Mintz Levin, State Street, and Goodwin Procter

The Franciscan Hospital for Children’s team, the “Clarke Crushers,” was led by two honorary team captains, former Senator Scott Brown and comedian Lenny Clarke.
