Arlington bike committee plans winter social

Arlington’s Bicycle Advisory Committee is hosting its annual Winter Social March 4 at the Whittemore-Robbins House. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will feature light refreshments and brief presentations on local bicycling issues.

A special guest will be Jacqueline Y. Douglas, director of LivableStreets Alliance, who will speak about rethinking urban transportation. The bicycle committee will also speak about its current cycling initiatives.

The Whittemore-Robbins House is at 790-R Massachusetts Ave., behind the Robbins Library.
