Arlington has begun several road resurfacing projects using the additional $400,000 voters approved for the Department of Public Works budget last month.

The money was included as part of the town’s $6.5 million override that was okayed by voters in June.

The town and its contractor P.J. Keating have already begun work on portions of Nicod Street, Ely Road, Wilbur Avenue and Appleton Street.

Resurfacing and paving for more than a dozen roads in the town will be done throughout the course of the summer, according to the town.

A full list of roads scheduled for improvements this summer can be found online at http://www.arlingtonma.gov/Public_Documents/ArlingtonMA_DPW/projects/2011RoadConstruction
