Boston Community Choir to perform at benefit for Arlington nonprofit

The Boston Community Choir will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Park Avenue Congregational Church in Arlington in a benefit for Tremendous Hearts.

Based in Arlington, the nonprofit Tremendous Hearts recruits, trains, places, and supports professionals who commit to at least six months of volunteer service to orphans and vulnerable children in South Africa.

The fund-raising event at the church, 50 Paul Revere Road, starts at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and a reception with the ensemble, which draws members from church, community, and college choirs across Greater Boston,

Tickets are $25, $10 for ages 15 and younger, and $60 for a family. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.tremendoushearts.org.
