The Easter Bunny is getting bumped by Old Man Winter in Arlington.

The Town’s Recreation Department is rescheduling its 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt because of lingering snow and poor field conditions at McClennen Field.

The scramble for mini chocolate eggs and other prizes had been scheduled for Friday, March 29, on Easter weekend, but has been moved to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, which is an early release day for students in Arlington Public Schools. Children from ages 2 through 10 years old can participate the hunt for the eggs, which will be broken into three different age groups.

The egg hunt is free, but the town is asking that kids bring their own basket or paper bag to collect the eggs.
