The state Legislature’s Joint Committee on Ways and Means will hold a hearing on Gov. Deval Patrick’s proposed budget at Arlington Town Hall Monday.

The hearing will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be chaired by state Rep. Sean Garballey, D-Arlington, who is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.

The hearing will be focused on the governor’s proposals for health and human services in Fiscal Year 2014, and members of Patrick’s administration will be providing testimony.
Members of the public are allowed to attend, but will not be allowed to give spoken testimony.

Members of the public will be allowed to submit written testimony to the committee, or speak at a public hearing on the budget at 10 a.m. on March 8 in the Gardner Auditorium in the State House.
