Boston Public Library offers courtyard concerts during lunchtime
Music is set to fill the courtyard of the Boston Public Library every week as the library kicks off its summer concert series.
The library’s central building in Copley Square will host weekly lunchtime concerts in its courtyard every Friday throughout the summer. The concerts will feature a range of musical genres, including jazz, classical, folk and funk.
The Friday concerts start at 12:30 p.m. and will be moved to the Rabb Lecture Hall in case of rain.
The library has released the following schedule of performances:
Revolutionary Snake Ensemble Friday, June 1 The award-winning Revolutionary Snake Ensemble is an improvisational second-line brass band playing a unique blend of original and traditional music. Celia Slattery Friday, June 8 Celia Slattery, accompanied by Bill Duffy on the piano, sings original music that weaves elements of jazz, pop, and folk/rock with lyrics inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen.American Century Music

American Century Music is dedicated to performing the orchestral, chamber, and solo repertoire of 20th-century American composers.
Greater Boston Asian American Youth Symphony
