The Belmont League of Women Voters is holding a Candidates’ Night Monday, Aug. 27 for candidates running for contested spots in the Primary Election scheduled for Sept. 6.

The event will be held at Chenery Middle School at 7:30 p.m., and will include candidates for Representative in Congress, Fifth District on the Republican ballot; Representative in the General Court, 24th Middlesex District on the Democratic ballot; Governor’s Council, 3rd District on the Democratic ballot; and Register of Deeds, Middlesex Southern District on the Democratic ballot, according to the League.
