North Shore Technology Council elects new board members and officers

The North Shore Technology Council elected two new executive committee members and five new directors to its Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2011/2012.

“Our new NSTC directors bring diverse experience in a variety of technical fields," John D. Colucci,  the president of the volunteer-led, nonprofit technology trade association for northeastern Massachusetts, said in a statement. "With them, we expect to continue to broaden the networking and learning opportunities delivered by the Council that will help the North Shore technology community flourish.”

Colucci also noted that the group has joined forces with the Mass High Technology Council and the New Hampshire High Tech Council, “by expanding the opportunities for collaboration and information sharing, we increase the chances for job growth and new technology development. That’s a win for everybody.”

The new NSTC Executive Committee members elected for one-year terms are:

-Executive Vice President – James L. Kawski, Manager of Market Research and Communications, at Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, of Gloucester and a South Hamilton, resident.

-Vice President – Tom Kinneman, Senior Vice President & General Manager  & Operations Director, of North Shore InnoVentures of Beverly, which operates the Cleantech InnoVenture Center in Lynn, MA and the Biotech InnoVenture Center in Beverly. He is a resident of North Andover.

The North Shore Technology Council also elected four new board members:

-Keith Boudreau, Owner/Head Coach, The Growth Coach of the North Shore and a resident of West Newbury.

-Antoinette Giulliano, Partner, AGG Intellectual Property Law of Beverly and a resident of Lynnfield.

-Timothy J.  Lasonde, President/Partner, NSK Inc. of Boston and a resident of Methuen.

-Shane McCarthy, Corporate Account Manager, EBSCO Publishing of Ipswich and a resident of Wakefield

An additional 21 executive committee members and directors were also returned to their previous board positions.
