MBTA to unveil schedule for Beverly Depot garage
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority will hold a public meeting tomorrow to discuss the plans and schedule for the proposed Depot parking garage on Rantoul Street.
The meeting, which will be held in the City Council Chambers, (191 Cabot St., 3rd floor) from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beverly City Hall, will also present the T's project team for the garage.
Officials designed a 500-vehicle parking garage, which is planned for construction on MBTA property, as an energy efficient structure that will connect to the Beverly Depot station. The garage is expected to significantly reduce the number of commuters parking on-street.
Accommodations to participate in the meeting, including American Sign Language interpreters, assistive listening devices and handouts in alternate formats will be provided upon request.
