The following was submitted by Beverly Hospital/Addison Gilbert Hospital:

The North Shore Neuropathy Support Group will meet on Saturday, November 19 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at Beverly Hospital.

Support Group Meeting followed by presentation from Meditation in Art by Anne Steinman, Artist.

Pablo Picasso once said, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." As children, we intuitively discovered pleasure from art; as adults, we may need to be reminded to incorporate art into our daily routine. Art therapy is a wonderful tool that we can use to help cope with stress, pain, and sorrow, and to improve the quality of our lives. At the meeting, Anne Steinman, an award winning artist and teacher, will demonstrate various exercises that you can try at home to nurture and sooth your soul. You will have the opportunity to make a
meditative mandala (Sanskrit for "circle") or a calming collage box. Together, we will embark on a relaxing journey to create space in our lives to experience the benefits of meditation in art.

There is no fee or pre-registration, for further information, please contact group leader Werner Paster at Tel: 978 479 4339 Email: wswpaster@gmail.com

Family and care-givers are welcome to attend our meetings free of charge! TheNeuropathy Association of the North Shore of Massachusetts, Inc.
