A 25-year-old Brockton man was arrested in Braintree Tuesday afternoon after allegedly taking part in a drug transaction in the Uno Chicago Grill parking lot.
After an employee called police reporting the suspicious activity, officers stopped Marc Tomblin and another person in the parking lot.
According to police, “Tomblin made statements that led the officers to believe that he had been involved in a drug transaction.” After searching his car, police said they found several bags containing marijuana along with over $1,500 in cash.
Tomblin was also driving with a suspended license, police said.
Tomblin was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and operating with a suspended license.
