Stephen La, 30, of Randolph, was arrested early Sunday morning on Granite Street after officers saw him driving his Infinity EX35 with a piece of the rear pumper hanging off from what they believe was a recent accident, police said.

When the officer stopped La, he made several observations that led him to believe La was drunk. La failed several sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, police said.

Once at the station, officers found that La’s Breathalyzer test read twice above the legal limit of 0.08 percent, police said.

La was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
