Woman charged with stealing from K-Mart

A Plymouth woman was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly stealing almost $500 worth of merchandise from K-Mart at the Marketplace on Grossman Drive.

According to police, loss prevention witnessed Renee E. McGee, 35, of Plymouth loading up bags at K-Mart and preparing to leave without paying.

McGee was getting into a white minivan as officers arrived. She was stopped and confronted by police.

A search of her vehicle uncovered numerous stolen items from K-Mart, as well as merchandise from other stores for which McGee had no receipts.

McGee was placed under arrest and charged with larceny over $250.
