Police are investigating an unarmed robbery at the Citizen’s Bank on Washington Street that occurred around 2 p.m. Monday.

According to police, a white male approached the teller and handed her a note demanding money. No weapon was shown and no one was threatened, police said.

The teller gave the man a sum of money and he fled through the rear door and through the parking lot.

Although the man was not seen entering a vehicle, a red car was seen leaving the parking lot during the time the man exited.

The man is described as being in his 20s, 5’10” to 6’ tall, with a thin to medium build. He had a fair complexion, was clean shaven, and had short hair and possibly blue eyes. He was wearing a long-sleeve black T-shirt, dark jeans, and a dark baseball hat.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Braintree Police.
