Braintree Scanner Tales: Men arrested for allegedly dealing oxycodone

Two men were arrested in Braintree on Thursday after allegedly participating in a drug transaction with a Roxbury man.

According to police, detectives observed the suspects and followed them to a North Braintree Square business, where police believe the transaction was made. Neither party worked at the business.

Police detained the Roxbury man and he made admissions as to how he obtained the four oxycodone pills in his possession.

As a result, the two other suspects were approached and placed under arrest.

Joseph R. Lynch, 42, and John A. Matro, 42, both of Braintree were charged with distribution of a Class B substance, possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate the Controlled Subatcnes Act, and a drug free school zone violation.
