Man arrested at Braintree wedding
A Brockton man was arrested on Sunday after allegedly causing a disturbance at a Braintree wedding.

Police said they were called to the Knights of Columbus on Washington Street on June 17 and arrived to find several guests out front yelling at each other.

Most people complied with officers’ requests to calm down, but the suspect allegedly continued to fight with other guests.

The suspect was pointed out as the primary aggressor at the reception and was placed under arrest.

Lucas Semedo, 23, of Brockton, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Woman robbed at T.J. Maxx
A 34-year-old woman from Roxbury told police that another woman in the parking lot of T.J. Maxx had robbed her.

On Tuesday, June 19, the victim said that the suspect approached her inside the store, and tried to sell her a gift card for cash. The victim refused and went about her shopping.

In the parking lot, the suspect allegedly approached the victim a second time and asked for money. When the victim said no, the suspect grabbed $45 from the woman’s hands and fled in a white, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Maxima.

The victim followed the vehicle into Weymouth while calling 911. The vehicle then pulled down a side street and came to a stop.

A man got out the vehicle and approached the Roxbury woman, who backed away. The couple then drove further into Weymouth, police said.

The female suspect is described as a white woman with blonde hair.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
