Braintree company hosts doctors from China

Haemonetics Corp., a Braintree-based blood and plasma supplies and services provider, hosted seven doctors from China who specialize in blood transfusions.

The Chinese doctors came to the US to learn about Haemonetics’ blood management initiatives and how they can apply them in China. They visited the company's headquarters on July 26 and will also visit several US hospitals and medical centers to talk with physicians and see how Haemonetics’ products are used.

The Chinese doctors include: Yuguang Huang, Ailun Luo, Ding Han, Xisheng Weng, and Quan Liao, all from the Peking Union Medical Center Hospital (PUMCH); Geng Wang from the BJ Jishuitan Hospital; and Min Yan from the ZJ No.2 Hospital.Frank Qui, general manager of Haemonetics China, is also pictured.
