South Shore Plaza will open two stores this month, both located near Macy’s.

According to a release, retailer Love Culture will join the mall, in addition to the Wasabi restaurant.

Love Culture, located on Level 2 next to Macy’s Home, sells clothing and accessories for women, and is geared toward a younger clientele.

“Each store is designed by industry professionals and features a huge selection of affordable fashions and accessories that are a step ahead of the rest, fun and creative,” the release said.

Wasabi will open next to the Macy’s Court on the first level. Its menu features sushi and other items served on a conveyor belt.

Based out of Washington, DC, the expansion into the South Shore Plaza is a part of the company’s move into the Boston market.

“Wasabi’s sushi and other Japanese dishes are all about flavor and fusion along with texture, contrast, freshness and balance. Wasabi cuisine is food that is simple and delicious,” a release said.

The two businesses join other recent additions that opened in the South Shore Plaza in 2011, including the Art of Shaving, Pinkberry, and a renovated J.Jill.

“South Shore Plaza is eager to offer these new store and dining options as we enter the mid summer season,” said South Shore Plaza Director of Mall Marketing Vicki Bartkiewicz.
