Boston man arrested for alleged drug trafficking in Braintree
A Boston man was arrested in Braintree on Tuesday afternoon after allegedly distributing drugs in Braintree, police said.
According to police, detectives assigned to the Braintree Police Drug Control Unit had information that the suspect would be at the Mobil on the Run gasoline station near the South Shore Plaza with a quantity of narcotics for sale.
At 1 p.m., the suspect arrived and was stopped by detectives, who searched his vehicle.
Police said they found a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, and heroin in the cup hlder of his 2000 Lincoln Navigator.
As a result, Michael Wilkerson, 42, of Boston was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (second offense).
Wilkerson was held on $10,000 cash bail pending arraignment in Quincy District Court on Wednesday.
